Light of Dawn

I wake with the light of the dawn whispering with joy in my heart and with praise on my lips. In stillness and twilight i stand before you bowing, prostating i call Allahu (swt).
My eyes see your beauty in the dawn's golden hues. My ears hear the thunder as it gloriies you. The rhythm of my heart beats the sound of your name. My breaths rise and fall with the tide of your praise. My soul knew and loved you before i was born and without your mercy is lost and fortorn.
Wherever i may wonder down the pathways of life, my cry to you Allah (swt), is "guide me to ligfht" through all fear and helpness, to you do i turn for your breath of healing and peacedo i yearn. For all that i have , my Allah (swt) all that i am is from you, is for you and to you will return. Inshallah

MY Paycheck

When I received my first paycheck at the age of 23, my father said to me:

"Every month, transfer 100 to me."

I asked, "Why, Dad?"

He replied, "For your upbringing."

I laughed, but he didn't.

From that day on, every 27th of the month—when my salary arrived—I would transfer 100 to him, noting in the transaction reference:

"For your upbringing."

And every single time, he would reply:

"Received. May God provide for you."

He never added another word.

I kept sending it when I was single.

I sent it the month I got married, even with debts weighing me down.

I sent it the month my son was born, when I had only 140 left in my account.

My wife would ask, "Your father is retired and owns his own home; what does he need 100 for?"

My friends would joke, "Has your father imposed a tax on you?"

I would simply say, "That’s just how my father is; he has his own ways."

Once, I was a day late.

At 7:00 AM, he called and asked, "Is everything alright?"

I sent the money, laughing to myself, thinking, "He really is meticulous about money."

This went on for 12 years.

Three months ago, the company let me go.

I didn't tell anyone—not even my wife.

Every day, I would put on my *thobe*, leave at 7:00 AM, and sit in my car near a coffee shop until noon, then return home as if I were coming back from work.

Then came the 27th… and no salary arrived.

For the first time in 12 years, I didn't send anything to my father. After dinner, my phone rang.

He said:

"Nothing arrived."

I replied:

"I forgot, Dad—tomorrow, God willing."

He was silent for a moment, then said:

"Come over now—just you."

I entered the *majlis* and found him sitting there, with an old notebook and an envelope in front of him.

He slid the notebook toward me and said:

"Open it."

Every line contained a date, the amount "100," and my name.

Next to each entry, he had noted where the money went:

"Water cooler," "Sponsorship of an orphan," "Ramadan food basket," "Providing water for laborers."

144 entries in total.

He said:

"Not a single riyal of your money ever went into my own pocket."

He handed me his phone, which showed a picture of a water cooler outside a mosque. A small plaque on it read:

"An act of charity (*sadaqah*) on behalf of my son—may God protect him."

I recognized it immediately.

It was the very same water cooler by the mosque near my workplace—the one I used to drink from every single afternoon.

For years, I had been drinking from the charity my father had given on my behalf, without ever knowing it.

Then, he slid the envelope toward me and said:

"And this is from me."

I opened it and found 72,000 inside.

He explained:

"Ever since you received your first paycheck, I’ve been setting aside 500 every month."

"I knew a day would come when nothing would arrive from you—and that, on that day, you would be in need of me."

I asked:

"Dad, how did you know?"

He replied:

"For 12 years, you never missed a payment—except for today. I didn't need anyone to tell me."

I couldn't find the words to speak.

He added:

"I never had any desire for that 100 in the first place." "I just wanted to know, every month, that you were doing okay—without having to ask you, only for you to tell me, 'I’m fine,' when you really weren’t."

Two months later, I found a job.

On the 27th—the day I received my first paycheck—I sent him 100 [units of currency] and wrote:

"For the upbringing."

He replied:

"Received. May God bless you with abundance."

A minute later, for the very first time, a second message arrived from him:

"And never keep things from me again."

—This story carries a lesson, though few will truly grasp it…!!

O Lord, forgive me, my parents, and all believing men and women—both the living and the dead—among the Muslims.

Conquest for Control of Makka

🇸🇦 🕋 Is military 🪖 conquest and occupation by a tribe a holy blessing from Allah, especially when they crown 👑 themselves royalty with zero 🚫 legitimacy other than what the British 🇬🇧 gave them and brutal force?

If the immense wealth hoarded was pulled straight from the ground, how is this any different from a modern-day invasion, occupation, and theft of universal resources? Challenge yourself to look past the modern propaganda to represent something as holy when its simple and occupation and greed. After years of geopolitical rivalry, Saudi 🇸🇦 forces led by Ibn Saud invaded the Hashemite Kingdom of Hejaz. Although they eventually entered Mecca 🕋 without a localised urban battle due to the Hashemite ruler’s abdication, the preceding campaign was driven by brutal tribal warfare. The wider Muslim Ummah never voted on or collectively approved this massive political transition. Instead, Ibn Saud justified the takeover locally as a necessity to depose his rivals, ultimately consolidating his rule by force to establish modern Saudi Arabia, take ownership of the wealth, land and whitewashing it with being the "guardian of the holy mosques".

Japan and Turkey

IN 1890, A JAPANESE FISHING VILLAGE SAVED 69 TURKISH SAILORS. 95 YEARS LATER, TURKEY PAID IT BACK 🇯🇵🇹🇷

September 1890. An Ottoman warship called the Ertugrul was heading home from Japan when a typhoon threw it onto the rocks near Kushimoto, at the southern tip of Japan's main island.

More than 500 sailors died.

The people of the small island nearby ran down to the water in the storm and pulled survivors out. By many accounts, they had very little food themselves, and gave the sailors what they had. 69 men survived. Japan sent them home on two of its own warships.

Japan mostly forgot. Turkey didn't. Generations of Turkish kids learned the story at school.

March 1985. War between Iran and Iraq. Iraq announced it would shoot down any plane over Iran after a deadline. More than 200 Japanese were stuck in Tehran, and under Japan's laws at the time, its own military planes could not go and get them.

Turkey sent two Turkish Airlines planes. They flew 215 Japanese out before the deadline.

When people later asked why, the answer from Turkey kept coming back to one word. Ertugrul.

Today, Kushimoto still holds a memorial for the sailors, and Turkey still sends people to stand there.

If the colonizers & enemies of Islam stand with you

If the colonizers & enemies of Islam stand with you...

...remember the warning of the Quran: “Those who take disbelievers as allies instead of the believers. Do they seek with them honor? Rather, to Allah belongs all honor entirely.” Surah An-Nisa 4:139) ....you have disregarded the clear boundary set in the Book: “O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you—then indeed, he is [one] of them.” Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:51) ...you break the very foundation of the Prophet ﷺ words: “The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body.” You cannot arm the hand that strikes the rest of the body. ...you trade the brotherhood of the Ummah for temporary political gain. The Prophet ﷺ warned us against deceit and splitting the ranks of the believers. ...you have chosen the Dunya (worldly power) over the Akhirah (the Hereafter). ...your allegiance violates the true spirit of Wala' wal-Bara' (loyalty for the sake of Allah and disavowal of falsehood).

Piers Morgan and Jeremy Corbyn

😱Piers Morgan Commented on Jeremy Corbyn’s Leadership — 47 Seconds Later, the Entire Room Fell Silent

An unusual sense of tension filled the room when Piers Morgan, in the middle of a public discussion about Britain's political future and the country's economic and social challenges, suddenly delivered a provocative remark aimed directly at Jeremy Corbyn.

👉Full story: https://kindlelink.buzz/posts/piers-morgan-commented-jeremy-corbyns-leadership-47-seconds-later-giakhanh123-team-lucky-15814f-lucky-BDyr

The comment was sharp, dismissive, and completely unexpected in what had until then been a relatively civil exchange. The audience was stunned — few expected one of Britain's most recognizable political figures to be challenged so directly in front of a live audience and thousands of viewers watching from home.

But the real surprise came just 47 seconds later.

Jeremy Corbyn calmly walked toward the podium. Showing no sign of anger or frustration, he slowly placed his notes on the table and looked out across the audience. His trademark composure immediately changed the atmosphere in the room.

👉 WATCH NOW: [Link]

Then, with a calm and confident demeanor, Corbyn adjusted the microphone as if preparing to deliver a response that would leave no room for doubt. Many in attendance could sense that something memorable was about to happen.

He spoke only a single sentence.

And in that moment, the entire room seemed to freeze.

Reporters stopped typing. Camera operators remained motionless behind their equipment. Even the moderator, who had been guiding the discussion throughout the event, fell silent as the atmosphere shifted dramatically.

Jeremy Corbyn, long known for his principled arguments, measured speaking style, and ability to defend his views under pressure, set his notes aside. His response was described by many as brief, precise, and remarkably effective, quickly changing the direction of the discussion and overshadowing the criticism that had come before it.

Every word appeared carefully chosen, reflecting decades of political experience and countless public debates. Rather than responding emotionally, Corbyn relied on logic, composure, and confidence — a combination that many observers believed allowed him to regain control of the moment within seconds.

The exchange quickly began circulating across social media, where viewers debated and analyzed the response. Some described it as a masterclass in handling criticism, while others pointed to it as an example of how calm leadership can be more powerful than confrontation.

For many people watching, it was more than just a clash between two well-known public figures. It became a lesson in the power of self-control, thoughtful argument, and confidence under pressure.

📌 The full story and audience reactions are reportedly available in the comments. If you want to see how a single response can silence an entire room and completely change the course of a debate within seconds, this is a moment many say you won't want to miss.

Rising tensions with Turkey and Greece

With tensions rising between Türkiye and Greece, recent developments in the Aegean are naturally drawing attention. The visit of the Greek Prime Minister to an island reportedly only around 2 km from the Turkish coast has also raised questions.

But there is something important to remember.

Turkish people do not seek war. War is not something ordinary people want, and peace should always be the first choice. Türkiye’s preference should be diplomacy, dialogue, and peaceful solutions to disputes.

But wanting peace should never be mistaken for weakness.

If Türkiye is not attacked, there is no reason for war. But if its security or sovereignty is seriously threatened, Türkiye has the right to defend itself and its people.

The message should be simple: We do not want war. We want peace. But we will defend ourselves if necessary.

The Aegean should be a sea that connects two peoples—not a battlefield between them.

Peace is strength. And defending yourself when necessary is not aggression; it is self-defense.

What do you think—can Türkiye and Greece resolve their differences through diplomacy and keep the Aegean a sea of peace? No. It's Israel who is fueling the issue for personal gain.

Palestinian woman they've held for a YEAR

BREAKING🚨 ICE REFUSED to release a Palestinian woman they've held for a YEAR. She went in healthy, and has now suffered a seizure and spent 72 hours in a hospital, shackled at her wrists and ankles.

Leqaa Kordia, 33, was arrested on March 13, 2025, after she voluntarily showed up for a meeting with immigration officers in New Jersey.

The stated reason was an overstayed student (F-1) visa. She came from the West Bank in 2016, has lived in Paterson for a decade, and was working as a server.

Two separate judges ordered her release, and both were killed by an automatic stay filed by the Department of Homeland Security.

She had also been arrested outside a Columbia University protest against the war in Gaza in April 2024. Every charge from that arrest was promptly dismissed.

Kristi Noem, then Homeland Security secretary, publicly accused her of being a terrorist sympathizer and said the government was investigating money she sent overseas. Her lawyers say it was roughly $1,000 to relatives displaced in Gaza.

In court, her attorney Sarah Sherman-Stokes says the government abandoned the accusation entirely and offered no evidence for it.

At her third bond hearing in Dallas on March 13, exactly one year in, Immigration Judge Tara Naselow-Nahas said she had seen thousands of pages of evidence from Kordia and "very little evidence presented by the government in any of this."

She said Kordia "poses next to no flight risk" and set bond at $100,000. A government attorney had just argued that "no amount of bond" would be enough.

She ended up detained longer than any other pro-Palestinian protester swept up in the 2025 campus crackdown, the last of four Columbia protesters still held, as Jake Offenhartz first reported in Associated Press.

Kordia is now diagnosed with epilepsy and takes anti-seizure medication daily.

Britain's Air Force Complicit

Britain’s Royal Air Force (RAF) refuelling planes supported US strikes on Yemen that ‘more likely than not’ resulted in 281 civilian casualties, according to the Pentagon.

The revelation comes just as Andy Burnham has sent military advisers to Saudi Arabia to consider whether Britain can support their escalating war against the Houthis in Yemen.

Last year saw President Trump directly target the Houthis in Operation Rough Rider, which aimed to stop the group blockading Israeli-linked shipping in the Red Sea.

The US Department of War has now released its annual '1057' report on civilian harm from military strikes during 2025, shedding more light on what happened in Yemen. It determined that 153 civilians were 'likely' killed and a further 243 civilians injured in three particular air strikes during Operation Rough Rider, two of which Britain can be linked to.

The acknowledgement included one of the worst strikes for civilian harm ever recorded in Yemen, which experts say raises serious questions about Britain’s potential involvement.

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) failed to respond to Declassified's request for comment.

The Changing face of Narendra Modi

Just seven months after Narendra Modi embraced Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv and declared a "special strategic partnership" between India and Israel, the two leaders' governments now sit on opposite sides of a sharpening global divide. Modi hosted the BRICS summit in New Delhi this week, where the bloc issued its strongest statement yet on Palestine, rejecting the forced displacement of Palestinians, opposing changes to Gaza's demographics, and backing UN Security Council Resolution 2803.

The declaration lands just days after the UK announced sanctions and a trade ban on Israeli settlements, with Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband accusing settlers of "ethnic cleansing"; a move Netanyahu condemned before Israel shut down the British consulate in Jerusalem. Facing a tough re-election battle in October and now coordinated pressure from both London and New Delhi, Netanyahu finds even his closest personal alliances complicated by the politics of Gaza.

9/11 Conspiracy or Reality

On September 11th 2001, millions of people watched the biggest false flag in modern history unfold live on their tv screens as two planes crashed into the twin towers in New York.

The event sent the world into a frenzy. Identical anti terrorist laws that impinged and restricted on all of our rights were introduced in ‘lock step’ in nearly every country. The surveillance state (already developing over decades) went into overdrive, fuelled by fear.

In the years following 9/11 muslims and arabic or middle eastern people became the bogeyman or scapegoat for western problems and the rationale for the United States obsession for never ending war and colonial control of the middle east. The so called ‘ Arab Spring’ eliminated any opposition to Israel and was successfully used to brutally murder Colonel Gadaffi; Gadaffi being a thorn in Israel’s side and threat to the Israeli and US controlled petro dollar system.

But something else also happened.

‘Conspiracy Theories’ around 9/11 took off and while some might of been wrong or extreme, the evidence, analysis and public probing into what happened started to change the mindset of ordinary people. Most people now question whether 9/11 was a ‘false flag’ attack or inside job. Most people could see that this event was used to launch a never ending war led by the US and Israel and backed by the UK and ‘five eyes countries’ (five eyes being the countries that share intelligence and agreed post war in 1946 to this ) and was being used to take our rights away.

Fast forward 19 years to 2020 and the ‘covid pandemic.’

This was a globally integrated and orchestrated crazed assault on all of our basic rights.

I have spent many years of my life talking about this and acting on it (so I don’t want to get into lengthy explanations about it) but again the key thing was that globally many people woke up to the fact that governments, charities, corporations and businesses, the NHS and public services are all corrupt and not there for our interests.

But there are still many who are not linking these two major false flag events together or joining the dots.

There have of course been many ‘false flag’ events over the last two centuries. But these two (I would argue) have been key in awakening many people

But while people are distracted by men wearing balaclavas in Portsmouth and the latest merry-go round of divisive theatre centred on boats and ‘migrants’, we are seriously in deep and going into the throes of world war three and the real terrorists are coming for us all and our children (I’ve long talked about conscription plans that they’re not hiding from you).

But as with Pearl Harbour (research the evidence now out there about how the Americans were in on it), the UK, Israel, the US and NATO countries are preparing for a new ground zero that will convince many it’s essential we go into this militaristic war.

To go to war with superpowers like Russia and China you need a very big reason- a big event.

Conquest of Ayasofya

After Sultan Mehmet II, "Mehmet Khan the Conqueror", took Constantinople in 1453, Ayasofya became the crown jewel of the Ottoman Empire.

1453. The day Constantinople fell and a new chapter began. Sultan Mehmet Khan turned Ayasofya into the grand mosque of Istanbul. The bells fell silent, the call to prayer rose, and minarets were added to a dome that had stood for 1000 years. From cathedral to Fatih’s mosque — a symbol of conquest and faith.

They called it the conquest of a city. Sultan Mehmet Khan called it the opening of a new era.

Ayasofya’s dome, once echoing with choirs, now echoes with azan. Minarets rose beside the ancient walls, and history bowed to faith.

From 1453 to today — Ayasofya, claimed by Sultan Mehmet Khan and still standing as a sign of faith and power.

Love for the Prophet SAW

A young man was arrested beside the Rawdah of the Prophet ﷺ.

Four police officers arrested a young man near the blessed Rawdah of the Prophet ﷺ. Without saying a word, they immediately tied his hands behind his back with a rope.

The young man kept asking, "What have I done? I'm neither a thief nor a criminal. Why are you treating me like this?"

An elderly man had been watching the entire scene from a distance. He approached the officers and said, "I know this young man."

The police asked, "How do you know him?"

The elderly man replied, "I always see him standing or sitting in front of the Prophet's ﷺ Rawdah, sending salutations (salawat), offering salam, and weeping. Why have you arrested him? Is he a thief?"

The young man was an Albanian, around 35 or 36 years old, with shoulder-length hair and a light beard.

The police replied, "No, he is not a thief. He is from Albania and has been living in Madinah for six years without legal residency documents. We have tried many times to deport him back to Albania, but every time we arrest him, he somehow escapes. We always find him again in the Prophet's Mosque. This time, we had no choice but to tie him up immediately."

The elderly man asked, "What will you do with him now?"

They answered, "We will enforce the law. We are taking him to the airport and putting him on a plane back to Albania."

The young man wept, realizing that this time he might truly have to leave the city of Madinah—the city filled with the memories of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

After a while, he pleaded with the officers:

"Please understand. I do not steal, rob, deceive, or harm anyone. I came here only out of love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I have no worldly purpose."

The officers replied, "That is not enough. According to the law, you must return to your country. Foreigners cannot remain here without legal permission."

As they escorted him out of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, the young man made one final request. The officers allowed him.

He looked toward the Green Dome and, overcome with emotion, cried out:

هل هكذا كان الاتفاق بيننا؟!

"O Messenger of Allah! Was this our agreement? I left my business, my family, and my parents so that I could become your neighbor, but now they will not let me stay."

As he uttered these words, he collapsed to the ground.

The officers initially thought he was pretending to faint so he could escape again. But when they lifted him up and poured water on his face, he did not respond.

One officer exclaimed, "Perhaps he has suffered a stroke or a heart attack. Call an ambulance immediately!"

An ambulance arrived and took him to the hospital. After examining him, the doctor said:

"He passed away about an hour and a half ago."

The officers broke down in tears, saying:

"By Allah, while carrying out our duty, we never realized the depth of this man's love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."

After he was washed, prayed over, and prepared for burial, he was taken to Jannat al-Baqi' and buried there.

The young man who was supposed to depart for Albania instead departed for Jannat al-Baqi', leaving behind a moving example of love for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.

Khalid ibn al-Walid, the Sword of Allah.

Not many Muslims around the world make it here. So I thought you guys might appreciate this.

Tucked away in a corner of a mosque in Homs, Syria, lies the resting place of one of the greatest warriors in Islamic history.. Khalid ibn al-Walid, the Sword of Allah.

I’m not Muslim, but I knew I couldn’t leave Syria without standing in front of his mausoleum.

The man who never lost a battle. The commander who shattered Byzantine power at Yarmouk and opened the gates of Syria to Islam. His dome-topped resting place sits quietly in the corner of the mosque that carries his name.

Standing there felt heavy. Not like a tourist stop… more like standing in the presence of a real historical figure.

Palestine must not be forgotten. 🇵🇸

We are taught that Islam teaches us to forgive, and it does — but forgiveness does not mean forgetting.

To forgive someone who has wronged you can be an act of strength, faith and trust in Allah. It means you choose not to let hatred consume your heart, and you leave the matter in the hands of Allah. But forgiveness does not require you to erase what happened, abandon your boundaries, or allow the same harm to happen again.

And when it comes to Palestine, we must never confuse forgiveness with forgetting.

We must not forget the lives lost.

We must not forget the families torn apart.

We must not forget the children who have suffered.

We must not forget the homes destroyed, the people displaced, or the pain endured.

Remembering Palestine is not hatred.

Speaking for Palestine is not hatred.

Standing against injustice is not hatred.

Islam teaches us to stand for justice, even when it is difficult.

We can forgive without forgetting. We can seek peace without abandoning justice. And we can pray for an end to suffering while refusing to let the world forget Palestine.

Because forgetting an injustice does not heal it — sometimes, remembering is how we make sure it is never repeated.

Palestine must not be forgotten. 🇵🇸

They Cannot Compete With Us"

🇹🇷Turkish General’s Bold Message on !srael: “They Cannot Compete With Us — We Are Not Like Other Countries”

Retired Turkish Lt. Gen. Zekai Aksakallı, former commander of Türkiye’s Special Forces, has delivered a strong assessment of Türkiye’s military capabilities in relation to Israel.

Speaking during a CNN Türk broadcast at the TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan event, Aksakallı said: “Israel does not have the capacity to compete with us. We are not like other countries.” Turkish media reported that he was discussing Türkiye’s growing military capabilities and transformation of its domestic defence industry.

Aksakallı also highlighted Türkiye’s transformation over his roughly 26 years of experience in conflict and crisis environments, recalling that Turkish forces had significantly fewer capabilities when he began his career. He contrasted that period with Türkiye’s current defence-industrial capabilities and technological development.

The remarks represent Aksakallı’s personal assessment rather than an independently verified comparison of the overall military capabilities of Türkiye and Israel.

ICC gets Sanctioned

The US Treasury sanctioned International Criminal Court President Tomoko Akane on Tuesday.

Any assets she holds in the United States are now frozen, and she’s largely cut off from the American financial system. Senior ICC trial lawyer Abdoulaye Seye got hit with the same penalties.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio broke the news on social media, saying the administration was sanctioning Akane and Seye “in our unwavering mission to protect Americans from this sham of a court.” Akane, a Japanese judge who has led the ICC since March 2024, and Seye, a Senegalese trial lawyer, will be barred from transactions with any US person or entity starting September 17. In practice the reach goes further than the legal text. Banks tend to treat sanctioned officials as untouchable, severing ties well beyond what’s technically required to avoid getting caught up in US penalties themselves. This is the latest move in a campaign the Trump administration has run against the court since February 2025, when it first sanctioned ICC officials over the arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Those warrants, issued in November 2024, accused the two of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. More than a dozen ICC judges and prosecutors have now been sanctioned. Rubio called the court “a corrupt and fatally politicized supranational court that has maliciously abused its authority and exceeded its mandate.” The ICC answered the same day, saying the sanctions “undermine the rule of law” and warning that threatening judges for applying the law puts the entire international legal order at risk. REMEMBER: the US signed the Rome Statute that created the ICC back in 2002 but never ratified it, so it was never bound by the court’s jurisdiction to begin with. Israel isn’t a member either. Neither is Russia, which didn’t stop the ICC from issuing a warrant for Vladimir Putin in 2023 over the war in Ukraine. Washington had no objection to that one tho. The sanctions are drawing legal challenges on multiple fronts. In June, three ICC judges sued the Trump administration, calling the measures “arbitrary and capricious.” Last week, four human rights groups filed a separate suit in a New York court, arguing the sanctions block victims of war crimes from pursuing justice through the court at all. Akane addressed the earlier round of sanctions back in February 2025, saying she regretted an order that would harm the court’s independence and “deprive millions of innocent victims of atrocities of justice and hope.” The institution she leads was built as the legal answer to the world wars and the Holocaust. Now its own president can’t hold a bank account in the country that helped write the treaty that created it.

Imran khan

Imran Khan, the former Pakistan prime minister and legendary cricket captain, will be moved from his “death cell” in prison to hospital amid concerns about his health.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered on Tuesday that Khan, 73, should be moved to hospital, having been in jail for the last three years for a string of cases following his ousting as prime minister in 2022⤵️

#Burnham is not the change. He is the adjustment.

This is the necessary interval in which the public is taught to forget how power changed hands. First there is confusion, then repetition, then acceptance.

The questions become tiresome: how did he become Prime Minister, who chose him, when did the country consent? Eventually the machinery of politics depends on one thing above all, that nobody asks anymore.

“Yesterday it was extraordinary. Today it is explained. Tomorrow it will be remembered as inevitable. Then Parliament will reconvene, the benches will fill, the rituals will resume, and we will all go along as before.”

That is how managed democracy hardens into obedience. Not with jackboots at the door, but with a new face on the screen and a population encouraged to move on.

Tony Benn understood that the management team could change while the system remained untouched.
