Light of Dawn

I wake with the light of the dawn whispering with joy in my heart and with praise on my lips. In stillness and twilight i stand before you bowing, prostating i call Allahu (swt).
My eyes see your beauty in the dawn's golden hues. My ears hear the thunder as it gloriies you. The rhythm of my heart beats the sound of your name. My breaths rise and fall with the tide of your praise. My soul knew and loved you before i was born and without your mercy is lost and fortorn.
Wherever i may wonder down the pathways of life, my cry to you Allah (swt), is "guide me to ligfht" through all fear and helpness, to you do i turn for your breath of healing and peacedo i yearn. For all that i have , my Allah (swt) all that i am is from you, is for you and to you will return. Inshallah

Britain's Air Force Complicit

Britain’s Royal Air Force (RAF) refuelling planes supported US strikes on Yemen that ‘more likely than not’ resulted in 281 civilian casualties, according to the Pentagon.

The revelation comes just as Andy Burnham has sent military advisers to Saudi Arabia to consider whether Britain can support their escalating war against the Houthis in Yemen.

Last year saw President Trump directly target the Houthis in Operation Rough Rider, which aimed to stop the group blockading Israeli-linked shipping in the Red Sea.

The US Department of War has now released its annual '1057' report on civilian harm from military strikes during 2025, shedding more light on what happened in Yemen. It determined that 153 civilians were 'likely' killed and a further 243 civilians injured in three particular air strikes during Operation Rough Rider, two of which Britain can be linked to.

The acknowledgement included one of the worst strikes for civilian harm ever recorded in Yemen, which experts say raises serious questions about Britain’s potential involvement.

The UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) failed to respond to Declassified's request for comment.
