Today, I was walking through the noble city of Makkah and I saw people from across the world. People from Pakistan, India, Turkey, Morocco, Nigeria, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines. Others from Morocco, Tunisia, Sudan and the UAE. Skin tones were different, languages all varied, clothing and colours were vast. I saw people sleeping on the floor. I saw people eating dates and bread. I saw the frail and the elderly huddled together. I saw people gazing upon the Ka'bah crying. I saw people gazing upon the Prophet's ﷺ birthplace and weeping. I saw old men with white beards bursting in tears just saying, 'Ya Allāh!' I saw elderly women with hunched backs sobbing whilst walking and saying, 'Allāhuma sali 'ala Muhammad ﷺ!'. I saw the rich help the poor. I saw strangers embrace. I saw the strong assist the weak. I saw lovers communicate with hearts. I saw beloveds speak the language of the soul. I saw the ill seeking cure. I saw the paralysed finding serenity. I saw hearts in union and souls in tranquility.
1400 years have passed and I swear by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, an ummah which has this kind of love will never fail. One day things will click. Our states will change. Our condition will become good. We will be rectified. We will be fixed. We shall be cured. We will be raised. We will be elevated. Allah will not let this ummah go to waste. Hajj today still teaches us that the Muslims can lose everything - we can go through poverty. We can go through tests, tribulations and hardships, but no matter what has happened and how much we've lost, we have not given up on Allah and the Messenger ﷺ. This religion began with one man in Makkah calling to Islam 14 centuries ago, but his religion is bringing life to the entire world.
My Faiths Goal
May Allah Ta’ala grant us His Love and the Love of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) , such that it becomes easy to give up all sins and submit to His Obedience. May He protect us all from the mischief of nafs and Shaytaan. May He fill our hearts with Love, Adab, Akhlaq and Sabr for this beautiful Deen and inspire us in being a practical and good Muslims and be true role-models to our community.

Remember
Through the Zikr of Allah Ta’ala one may achieve recognition and Maarifat of Allah Ta’ala.

Light of Dawn
I wake with the light of the dawn whispering with joy in my heart and with praise on my lips. In stillness and twilight i stand before you bowing, prostating i call Allahu (swt).
My eyes see your beauty in the dawn's golden hues. My ears hear the thunder as it gloriies you. The rhythm of my heart beats the sound of your name. My breaths rise and fall with the tide of your praise. My soul knew and loved you before i was born and without your mercy is lost and fortorn.
Wherever i may wonder down the pathways of life, my cry to you Allah (swt), is "guide me to ligfht" through all fear and helpness, to you do i turn for your breath of healing and peacedo i yearn. For all that i have , my Allah (swt) all that i am is from you, is for you and to you will return. Inshallah
