Yesterday, to over 800,000 followers, Rupert Lowe said his inquiry proves "without doubt" the link is one religion. Islam. Read his own report. A survivor whose every abuser was White British. A girl first groomed by White British men, later trafficked by a Kurdish gang. A child prostituted to solicitors, care workers and police officers. All White British. We didn't call them Christian. When the evidence doesn't fit, it's left in the footnotes. The report claims 250,000 victims. That's one peer's guess in the Lords in 2019 — Rotherham's 1,400 "extended across the country." Baroness Casey says the scale cannot be quantified. It claims 87–95% are Muslim. The 87% comes from counting distinctively Muslim names in court records — the report's own method. The 95% is one cleric who campaigned to ban the burqa. A name tells you heritage. Not belief. Not motive. The Qur'an forbids even approaching unlawful sex (17:32) and sets a fixed punishment for it (24:2). A doctrine cannot cause the crime it most condemns. In 2013, 500 mosques read the same sermon on the same Friday — condemning the abuse, citing the Qur'an's duty to protect children. Backed by the MCB. If Islam is the connection, why did 500 imams condemn it? Between 1970 and 2015, the Catholic Church recorded over 3,000 instances of child sexual abuse by clergy. Abusers were moved between parishes to protect the Church's name. No one called it a Christian problem. In some towns, Pakistani-heritage men were over-represented. That is documented and real. The eight theological "factors" were written by an Anglican priest, published by Christian Concern — whose founder is recorded in a parliamentary submission as reportedly believing Islam is "the work of the devil." The minister told the Assembly it had no "ethnic minority dimension." The abusers had paramilitary links. Same crime. No ethnic dimension at all. The exploitation was real. Children were failed.
