Whosoever has Allah in his heart, His helper in both worlds is Allah, And whoever has other than Allah in his heart, His opponent in both worlds is Allah."

My Faiths Goal

May Allah Ta’ala grant us His Love and the Love of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) , such that it becomes easy to give up all sins and submit to His Obedience. - Sahih Muslim

Light of Dawn

I wake with the light of the dawn whispering with joy in my heart and with praise on my lips. In stillness and twilight i stand before you bowing, prostating i call Allahu (swt).
My eyes see your beauty in the dawn's golden hues. My ears hear the thunder as it gloriies you. The rhythm of my heart beats the sound of your name. My breaths rise and fall with the tide of your praise. My soul knew and loved you before i was born and without your mercy is lost and fortorn.
Wherever i may wonder down the pathways of life, my cry to you Allah (swt), is "guide me to ligfht" through all fear and helpness, to you do i turn for your breath of healing and peacedo i yearn. For all that i have , my Allah (swt) all that i am is from you, is for you and to you will return. Inshallah

Osman meets Maulana Rumi RA

OSMAN GHAZI SON OF ERTUGRUL  MEETS MOULANA

JALALADIN RUMI (ra/qsa)

The Anatolian Seljuk leader, Sultan Ala’din Kayqubad organised a feast for the purpose of declaring his spiritual master.

Ertuğrul Ghazi was present amongst the Turkmen Beys, and Mawlana Rumi was also there amongst the group of Scholars.

Mawlana Rumi was not satisfied with some of the issues he faced in the assembly, so he left the assembly and walked out.

While descending from the stairs of the palace, he comes across 15 year old Osman Ghazi who came as a guest with Ertuğrul.

When Osman saw that a scholar is coming his way, he moved to the side and lowered his head.

This respectable action gains the attention of Mawlana Rumi and asks him, “Young boy, who are you?”

Osman Ghazi replied,

“I am Osman, son of Ertuğrul Bey leader of the Kayi Tribe.”

Osman goes for a walk with Mawlana Rumi and they go to his Masjid.

Osman puts on the Sufi Turban and Thobe, and all the disciples of Mawlana Rumi form a circle with Osman to prepare for a Dhikr Gathering.

The conversation follows:

Mawlana Rumi -

“Take this Tasbih and read Surah al-Fatiha.”

Osman -

“I’ve read it.”

Mawlana Rumi -

“How many have you read?”

Osman -

“I’ve read it 18 times.”

Mawlana Rumi -

“This is not enough son, I will read an extra 18.”

After they recited Fatiha, Mawlana Rumi raised his hands for Dua and said to Osman:

“I took the Sultanate of Islam from the Seljuks and I give it to you, be blessed!

18 + 18 = 36, and this is the number of Sultans which will come from your generation.”

Osman Ghazi who was just a 15 year old boy was sweating, speechless, he didn’t know what to do upon hearing such blessed news.

Since the Turks knew about Islam by the Sufis, they embraced the supreme religion together with Sufism, and established and administered the states under the guidance of the Sufis of their time.

The Ottoman State also received the prayer and support of the Awliyah in its foundation.
