- Sahih Muslim

Light of Dawn

I wake with the light of the dawn whispering with joy in my heart and with praise on my lips. In stillness and twilight i stand before you bowing, prostating i call Allahu (swt).
My eyes see your beauty in the dawn's golden hues. My ears hear the thunder as it gloriies you. The rhythm of my heart beats the sound of your name. My breaths rise and fall with the tide of your praise. My soul knew and loved you before i was born and without your mercy is lost and fortorn.
Wherever i may wonder down the pathways of life, my cry to you Allah (swt), is "guide me to ligfht" through all fear and helpness, to you do i turn for your breath of healing and peacedo i yearn. For all that i have , my Allah (swt) all that i am is from you, is for you and to you will return. Inshallah

the sacred relics of the Prophet SAW

This is the train which carried all of

the sacred relics of the Prophet from Madinah to Istanbul. The train artefacts and relics which were kept inside the noble chambers of the Messenger of Allah . Fakhri Pasha felt like the enemy who had aligned with the British would destroy everything so he had 2000 security personnel guard them until they reached Istanbul. They were then kept in the Topkapi Musuem.  The initial relics arrived into the Topkapi Musuem under the patronage of Sultan Selim l after he conquered Egypt. He assigned 40 memorisers of the Quran to recite the over them 24 hours a day — and this still continues until this day. Sultan Abdul Hamid's daughter shares amazing accounts of how this room would be opened annually on 15th Ramadan. The Shaykh al-Islam, the Sultan, his family and those who accompanied him would wear their best perfumes and dress in their best clothes for this event because it was on this day they would be honoured to kiss the noble mantle of the Messenger of Allah . They would collect every particle of dust on the relics, mix them with perfume, place them in water and drink it to seek cure and blessings, and they would even save the water so they could perform the ghusl of the Sultans at the time of their passing with the intention of seeking barakah.
