Where are my dear Friends,
Where love never ends,
They sit and rejoice my Name,
Without want, desire or fame,
Where are my dear Friends?
Who come to make amends,
They stand shoulder to shoulder,
The love that grows bolder and bolder,
Where are my dear Friends?
From heaven the angel descends,
From mountains, seas and all over,
We wish not to become sober.
Where mint tea is served with humour,
And the poetry is recited with fervour,
Where chanting is deep and Uplifting,
And the soul is overjoyed and lifting,
Where are my Friends roaming?
The emptiness of the lodge is calling.
Come hither o dear brothers
Lightening the heart is not for others.
Where are my Friends calls a voice from the heavens,
I am lost and the Garden of Breeze beckons.
Come and set me alight says the derwish,
Don't push me deep in this wilderness,
I have patiently awaited your arrival,
It is indeed essential for my survival.
Where are my Friends?
